At InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin, norriv brought oversized products into a compact exhibition format. Small Hologram Box S units, installed horizontally and paired with newly created 3D product assets, gave nine companies a distinctive way to present their portfolios and reach prospective clients.

A large product can be difficult to bring into a small exhibition space. Explaining it presents another challenge: visitors need to understand what they are looking at before a useful business conversation can begin.

For this installation, norriv connected those two needs. The physical displays fit the exhibition setting, while the custom 3D content brought the companies' products into view. The result was a presentation designed around both the portfolio and the people discussing it.

The Challenge: A Large Portfolio in Limited Exhibition Space

Manufacturers of oversized products face a practical exhibition problem. Their products may be central to the sales story, but their physical dimensions can make a conventional booth demonstration difficult.

For an international audience, a product also needs a clear introduction. A visitor walking past the stand should be able to recognize the subject of the presentation and have a reason to ask a question.

The brief called for a compact format that could serve multiple companies while keeping their products at the center of the experience. It needed to give representatives a visual starting point for conversations with new prospects.

The Solution: Horizontal Hologram Box S Units and Custom 3D Content

Small Hardware for Oversized Products

norriv installed the small Hologram Box S units horizontally. This brought the product presentation into a compact format that could sit within the stand's existing exhibition and meeting spaces.

The horizontal arrangement gave visitors and company representatives a shared visual reference. An oversized product could be introduced through its digital representation while the conversation stayed close to the display.

The commercial purpose was straightforward: make it easier to show what a company offers and move from an initial introduction to a discussion about the visitor's needs.

A compact horizontal norriv display brings a large logistics system into a close-up product conversation.

New 3D Assets Built Around the Actual Portfolios

The hardware formed one part of the installation. norriv also created new 3D assets of the companies' oversized products for the holographic presentations.

That content made the displays specific to the participating businesses. Each product representation supplied a visible reference for a portfolio that would otherwise be difficult to present at its physical scale.

The combination of compact hardware and custom content was central to the project. The Hologram Box S provided the presentation format; the new 3D assets gave that format a relevant product story.

Bringing the Presentation into the Stand

The project combined 3D content creation with the installation of the horizontal Hologram Box S units. Both elements served the same goal: bring large products into an accessible exhibition presentation.

Photographs from the stand show compact norriv displays positioned alongside meeting areas, company branding, and product literature. This placed the visual presentation within the setting where representatives could introduce their businesses and continue the conversation.

The compact presentation format fits alongside the stand's meeting spaces.

For a project spanning nine companies, the shared display approach also provided a consistent presentation format. The product content carried the identity of the individual portfolios, while the hardware gave the installation a recognizable visual language.

Results and Commercial Value

The installation gave nine companies a way to bring oversized products into their exhibition outreach. Its value came from making those products available as visual subjects for new business conversations.

The delivered solution provided:

  • A compact presentation format: Horizontal Hologram Box S units brought the product display into the available exhibition space.
  • Content tied to the companies' products: Newly created 3D assets put the actual portfolios at the center of the experience.
  • A shared reference for discussion: Representatives could use the visual presentation when introducing a product and answering initial questions.
  • Support for reaching prospective clients: The installation gave the companies another way to start a conversation with visitors encountering their products for the first time.

The display sits within a face-to-face product discussion at the Slovak stand.

The outcome was a practical sales presentation resource: compact hardware, relevant 3D content, and a setting for direct discussions with prospective customers.

The Wider Exhibition Setting

The supplied photographs also capture the broader Slovak stand, with meeting tables, exhibitor branding, and other norriv display formats. These views place the compact product presentations in their exhibition context.

Why This Project Matters

The InnoTrans installation demonstrates how a small display format can support the presentation of much larger products. By combining horizontal Hologram Box S units with custom 3D assets, norriv gave multiple companies a common presentation approach shaped around their own portfolios.

For exhibitors, the opportunity is to bring a product into the conversation even when its physical dimensions exceed the available demonstration space. A clear visual introduction gives the sales team something concrete to discuss and the visitor a starting point for exploring a potential business relationship.
